As the nights start to draw in please make sure you lock all doors and windows when out and about. Leaving a light on is a good deterrent if you go out early knowing it will be dark when you return. Please also make sure your vehicles are securely locked even if they are parked on the drive.
From Dana Wiffen, Chairman, Neighbourhood Watch Office We have had a few enquiries recently as to when our office is open so here are the times: Monday 9am-12midday, Tuesday 10am-3pm, Wednesday 12.30pm to 3.30pm, Thursday 9am-1pm and Friday 9am-12midday. These can change at short notice from time to time due to volunteer availability or if we are attending an event or meeting, for example, but if you leave an answerphone message we will get back to you as soon as as we can.
NATIONAL PERSONAL SAFETY DAY From Dana Wiffen, Chairman, Neighbourhood Watch Office We will have our stand for this year's National Personal Safety Day next Thursday 8th November in Bexleyheath Shopping Mall. It runs from 9.30am to 12midday. Organised by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, this year's theme is 'Stay Safe at Work'.
