Burglary Business - Thursday 4th July at 19:00hrs - Friday 5th July 09:00hrs on Love Lane, Bexley. Victim reported someone has broken into his allotment and stolen a petrol strimmer and a chainsaw.
Theft of motor vehicle -Saturday 6th July at 22:30hrs on Bexley High Street, Bexley. Victim parked his vehicle outside a shop leaving his keys in the ignition, on returning to his vehicle he saw suspects getting into his car. Victim tried to stop suspects, however suspects managed to get away.
Theft -Monday 8th July at 10:40 - 10:45hrs on Thursland Road, Sidcup. Suspect jumped out of his vehicle and picked up a strimmer left on the grass and drove off.
Theft from motor vehicle -Saturday 6th July at 10:00 - 11:00hrs on Vicarage Road, Bexley. Victim parked his van in the lay by locked and secured for an hour. On returning unknown suspect/s have forced entry into the victims vehicle and taken various tools from inside.
Residential Burglary - Monday 8th July at 14:20hrs on Hurst Road, Bexley. Victim returned home and heard movements upstairs, he shouted who's up there. As he did this victim saw a male with his face covered running across the hallway. Suspect climbed out onto ground floor extension and made off via garden.
Theft of motor vehicle - Wednesday 10th July at 02:00 - 02:20hrs on Wansunt Road, Bexley. Victim reported his Range Rover Sport has been stolen off his drive.
Theft from motor vehicle -Saturday 6th July at 02:00hrs on Hartford Road, Bexley. Persons unknown gained entry to motor vehicle and stole property from it.
Also this week the team have been out and about with the speed gun on Southwold Road. Our presence was definitely noticed as we didn't manage to catch a single person speeding while we were there! We will be moving about the ward in the coming weeks with the speed gun. The team also came across a Mercedes in Maddocks Close which upon further inspection was found to be on false plates and to have been involved in crime in the local area and in Essex. The vehicle was recovered to the car pound (picture attached).
