Our Aims and Objectives are:-
To promote and further the preservation of the local environment as a Residential area, the protection of the Green Belt, Heritage Land and the improvement of local amenities in North Cray.
To monitor major planning applications (residential/commercial), applications for change of use (land/buildings) or any other such changes brought to the attention of the committee by local residents; and to take appropriate action where the proposed development/change of use is considered generally detrimental to residents or in any way contravenes Green Belt/Heritage Land guidelines or impacts upon either of our two Conservation areas- High Beeches or North Cray Village. The NCRA cannot normally consider any involvement/action relating to individual planning issues and/or disputes.
To seek to ensure that proper and timely Enforcement action is taken by Bexley council wherever breaches in planning/change of use permission occur.
To co-operate with any other Association Federation or Council having similar objectives, with a view to ensuring unity of action on matters affecting members generally to their mutual benefit.
To watch over legislative matters which shall tend to affect the interests of members.
To inform members where practicable of matters that affect the interests of members.
To achieve our aims and objectives, NCRA collects and holds a list of members addresses. Where individual permission has been specifically given, we also hold members names and email addresses.
