Thanks to Mrs Danielle Fuller of the Bexley Safer Neighbourhood Board(BexleySNB) for the
following alert :

Dear Residents

A report has been made regarding a woman claiming to be from Greenwich & Bexley Hospice
collecting money for a cancer machine.
The Hospice was contacted who confirmed that it NEVER collects door to door (I understand that
the Police have been notified).

Please note that anyone collecting money in your street should have proper identification and the
organisation should have also informed the police of their intention.
If you are not sure and cannot confirm their identity, please do not hand over any money.
