To NCRA Members :
An article id Street Life advises all dog owners / walkers to keep alert as to who is watching you with your
dogs in local parks.
The author of the article was approached whilst walking her dogs in Old Farm Park, Sidcup by two
traveller boys who were over interested in them. They also went into St George's Park and did the same to
other dog walkers.
She had been contacted by a friend who witnessed a man being arrested in Alma Road (opposite
Birkbeck School) who apparently tried to snatch dogs from an elderly lady.
The traveller boys could just innocently like dogs, but they were hanging around too much and looked very
suspicious.
Please, please keep an eye out for your dogs or any chalk markings that may be outside your house.
Apparently houses are marked with different codes for the type of dog that lives there.
Remember Christmas is coming - more puppies are needed, so dogs could be stolen for breeding or
baiting.
