MESSAGE FROM CRAYMEADOWS SAFER NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM
Craymeadows Safer Neighbourhood Team have advised residents that although Bexley remains one of the
safest Boroughs in London, we are experiencing an increase in opportunistic crimes across the Borough.
They go on to advise residents to remove any potential opportunity that would enable a criminal to gain
entry to their property e.g. an open window, unlocked car or a garage door left open.
They will be out patrolling our neighbourhood looking for the very same things that criminals look for.
They ask that we do not take offence if they knock on your door to inform you that they have identified an
opportunity for thieves and that they are happy for residents to contact them if they require any further help
or advice.
